I’m about 2,750 words into writing a book. It’s a novel based on a movie, and I’m using the script, along with the as yet unreleased DVD to guide me, and the guy that wrote the movie, produced and directed it, is right behind the idea. It’ll basically be a guaranteed publish - we hope.

About

Hello, I’m the guy that owns this tragedy. Confession; I suck at writing my own intros. Hey, I’ll write a really good one for you though.

And yes it’s true, I am an occasional neurotic as well as writer, artist, saxomophone player and violinist.

It kinda sounds impressive until you realise I’m a student writer, and as an artist I’ve only sold one picture in my entire artistic life. Violin? yeah that part’s pretty cool. I played in one or two improv bands and gigged around this fair city of Melbourne, Australia where I live and had a rollicking good time doing it, and presently rehearsing with a group of friends (just can’t stop playing music).

We are nameless at this point, but the band consists of double bass, drums, guitar, and me - violin and sax, which brings me to the next part of my deprecating little statement; saxophone. I’m just a learner really, but there’s something really interesting about sax; it lends itself perfectly to improvisation. I don’t know how but there it is, it’s something I really fought with on violin, but with sax just flows. Go figure.

I’m - off and on - into digital art, but my real interest in things of a visual nature lies with photography. I use (at this point) a Canon eos 400 DSLR, and you can have a look at my art by clicking here; by art I mean photography and digital art.

I live in a house in a semi-rural area on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia, with my wife and because it’s semi-rural I can play my sax as loud as I want, when I want (unless my wife’s trying to sleep or something). I work part-time and my house is five minutes walk down the road from where that is.

Just recently, I helped a friend make a movie, which had its premiere screening - March 6 2008, at the Belgrave Cameo theatre, and it was a sold out completely. Not bad for a bunch of unknowns.

The movie centre’s around two warring pastors of a local church, which ends in tears initially but there’s a twist which I won’t reveal here cause I hate when people reveal spoilers. We’re starting work on the next one in around August or September 2008, and I’ll talk about that one as it unfolds. And oh yeah, I’m writing a novel based on the movie.

The End.
